John Dumas, the artist behind Sacred Art Ministry

Born in Vermont and lifelong resident of Florida, John Dumas is a graduate of the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL and the founder of Dumas Art Services in Winter Park, FL. For over 45 years, John has been an influential private and commercial artist, creating and installing masterful collections around the world. His work spans intricate murals, fine art paintings, and abstract pieces that reflect his deep understanding of color, design, and creative intuition.

John’s art can be found in renowned institutions and private collections worldwide, including The Orlando Museum of Art, Universal Studios, Walt Disney World, and other corporate collections. His pieces have also been featured in notable galleries and publications such as Park Ave Contemporary Art, the Grand Bohemian Art Gallery- The Kessler Collection, Florida Design Magazine, and Florida Architectural Magazine.

Today, John’s work is deeply rooted in his faith, producing art for The Sacred Art Ministry Collection and encouraging others to join him in affirming, “I BELIEVE!”. Passionate about inspiring artists and collaborating with interior designers, John continues to share his gifts and his mission with audiences across the world.

MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of Sacred Art Ministry is to create contemporary sacred art depicting patron saints and Holy images of parishes accross the country to inspire prayer, faith, and devotion in the home.


Ministry is what we do for God’s glory based on where HE has placed us, how HE has gifted us, and what HE has called us to do according to HIS infinite wisdom and for proclamation of the gospel.
